I finally got a cavity from my last review and since the last other dentist I reviewed that drilled through my teeth without the anesthesia taking and he told me to count to ten! I finally got a cavity so I was nervous since my last experience with filling a cavity with the other dentist was so traumatic(read his reviews!). And Dr. Dupree knew my anxiety about it and the story of what happened before and  in addition I had a neck and back injury at this time,but he was very gentle with me.

He did it without any problems and his one injection(the other dentist kept poking me many times and it did not take still) numbed me fine and I did not feel anything this time around(thank goodness since the last time with the other dentist, I felt everything, including the drill going in and all the needle pricks since he kept trying to numb me but it did not work).

I was SOOOO relieved that Dr. Dupree and his assistant were both so gentle with me and was so kind and that he did it on one take! So I had to tell of my experience after the awful one with the other dentist,that shows Dr. Dupree is an excellent dentist!

...I did once have an infected tooth on a Sunday morning; it hurt more than anything I have ever felt in my life.

I called his answering service and left a message, 45 minutes later I met him at his office and got taken care of

Dr. Dupree is an outstanding dentist that I have complete trust in. He was recommended to me as being one of the most highly-qualified and gentle dentists in the Brentwood-Antioch area. He was very thorough in reviewing the health of my teeth as well as my bite and jaw. I have not had any dentist to date offer me such comprehensive information and I have seen four dentists in the Antioch area since 1990.

I have had problems with my jaw in the past which no other dentist addressed - until Dr. Dupree. He has also recommend a course of treatment that will help me preserve my teeth for life. With a mild-phobia about visiting dentists - probably dating back to my childhood and 1960's dental tools (still hear the sound of the drill) - I am typically apprehensive about visiting the dentist - in fact procrastinating about exams and cleaning. Not any more - Dr. Dupree and his staff have made me feel very comfortable by their calm nature and patience
